Waldorf School at Moraine Farm Board of Trustees approved the appointment of Mark Graziano as the school’s first Executive Director, effective June 5, 2017.
Waldorf School at Moraine Farm is pleased to announce the board’s unanimous decision after receiving enthusiastic and thoughtful input from the search committee and school community. Graziano will become the school’s first Executive Director of the nursery through eighth grade independent school, which is celebrating its thirtieth year.
Cathy Kennedy, Board Chair, remarked, “We are thrilled to have Mark joining us as Executive Director. Simply put, Mark has what we want—extensive experience with the financial and business aspects of running a school, and an innate ability to connect with people. We are excited for the new energy he will bring to the school.”
Graziano brings more than seventeen years of experience in the field of education administration, including eleven years as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer of the Pike School in Andover, MA. His work on the Pike School’s short- and long-term strategic plans, his creation of policies and procedures to improve donor engagement, and his close work with the board and parent community will inform and enrich his new role at the Waldorf School at Moraine Farm. Mark is excited about the opportunity to “stay true to the core beliefs of a Waldorf education, while growing the school and taking it to the next level.”
Mark has an MBA from Colorado State University, and a Bachelor’s in business with concentrations in finance and marketing from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Mark is scheduled to receive his Master of Education in administrative leadership in the fall of 2018.
Mark joins the Waldorf community with his wife, Alison Graziano, and six-year-old twins, son, Brody and daughter, Bailey.
